GOOOAAAALLLL!

Watched the men's handball match today between the Russian Federation and Korea. I can honestly say that it was the best handball match I've ever seen.

Of course, going into the gymnasium I had no idea what handball actually was.

It was an exciting, fast-paced game, and I even managed to get a video of the Koreans scoring on the Russians:

(here's a link to the video if the Blogger one doesn't work)

Turns out my seat was deep in the Russian section, so my cheering for Korea was mostly silent. Sadly, the Koreans lost 22-29. As stated, I know little of handball, let alone strategies, but the Russians seemed to employ some underhanded tactics later in the game when they were up on points. But maybe not.

In any case, it was fun to watch, and now I can say I've watched a live Olympic event.
