Wow, time flies when you have nothing to do. It does for me, anyway. We've already been at our temporary place for a week! I guess it's good that it doesn't feel that long -- the food here is less than spectacular.
Looks like I might just have the chance to see a few Olympic events. I may be able to get some tickets that someone won't be able to use. Not great events (in my opinion), but Olympic events nonetheless: handball and baseball. Also a possibility to see a soccer match, but it's in Shanghai and we won't know if the U.S. will be in it until 3 days before the event.
Not much else to report. The better half is out and about finishing up consultations, checking out of training, and faxing vet documents to China.

What about seeing fencing? Or is that a hot event?
Alas, nothing as good as fencing. I can only get the tickets mentioned -- that's what the person I'm getting them from has.
That person has no taste in olympic events... but I'd still try to go to at least one thing, regardless of who plays, just to say you did it.
