No Shirt No Shoes No Juicy

I thought that when we left Korea, we had escaped weird/mangled English. Yesterday it found me.

While picking up some boxes for my latest batch of eBay mailings, I saw an asian woman (I'd guess either Japanese or Korean) wearing a T-shirt that said:
No Shirt
No Shoes
No Juicy

I don't even know where to begin how to describe how mind-boggling that was to me. Still is.

"To what have we been up?" you ask? Well! I'll tell you! After a visit from Tahra's parents, during which we visited the national mall to see some of the monuments/memorials we hadn't yet (FDR, WWII, etc.), we settled back into a normal week of work (for Tahra) and job searching (for Paul).

April 16-20 we traveled down to the outer banks islands in North Carolina (near Nag's Head) and stayed in a beach house that Tahra's cousin very graciously let us use free of charge, to celebrate our anniversary. It was a good time -- we even got crabs from Dirty Dicks.

But we're back, and getting back to our current "normal." Nothing yet on the job search front, though I have high hopes for this newest opportunity that the staffing agency has found for me.

A whopping 123 items (out of 191) that I put up on eBay recently sold, so I'm still in the process of packing and shipping them out. I may just become a professional eBayer -- buy low, sell higher than that!

I think that's about it for now. I'll be in MN from May 15-21, though I'll be busy in Fergus Falls most of that time, and then (hopefully) winning the D&D Miniatures championship qualifier tournament on May 20. Shane (H), I'll see you Friday the 19th.

Oh -- you know the swerving out of the exit lanes I talked about last time? I think it's a popular pastime out here. Lots of people seem to enjoy it.

I am not sure which definition it might fit but urban dictionary has some pretty funny ones on what Juicy means.

Probably the "laced with PCP" one. :-)
