Well, it seems that Tahra's CDO (Career Development Officer) has decided to fight against Tahra regarding the job in Manila.
Not surprising, since she (the CDO) has been the opposite of helpful since the beginning. It's almost as if she misinterpreted the "D" in the acronym as "Destruction."
I really want to contact her myself and "share my thoughts," but so far I've held off even though it likely doesn't matter what we do -- we can't really make the situation any worse, and there's no way to make it better.
So, about the only thing we can do at this point is get my medical records processed showing my history of gastro-intestinal problems so that the medical office of the State Department deems Mumbai (or anywhere in India) an unacceptable assignment for us.

Maybe you could go over to the CDO's place and eat some Indian food with her and use her bathroom to prove your point. :)
