D-What and I went last Friday for a farewell party for one of the FSNs (Foreign Service National) who is leaving the embassy to go study in Beijing and Singapore. Anyway, the fourth stage of the night (first was a restaurant, second was a blues bar, third was another restaurant/bar) was a "norae bang" (singing room, aka karaoke).
I have never thought that karaoke was a good idea, so I professed my preference not to do it, but I caved in to peer pressure and went along.
As it turns out, I ended up singing a few songs: In the End [Linkin Park] (a tough one to do with only one voice); When the Children Cry [White Lion]; and Here I Go Again [Whitesnake]. If you're lucky, this might have been one of the places that records the singing and posts it on the internet for people to listen and laugh.
Well, that's about all the excitement for now. We (D-What, a few other diplomats, and I) will likely be resuming D&D in a week or so. Should be good. I'm posting some links to pictures of the sewer crypt they're going to explore.

You know, people, you can post comments here -- and I encourage it!
Happy very belated birthday. Nice sewer crypt you have there. I assume you built/painted it? It seems as though you are having a wonderful experience over there (besides the car). Thanks for posting the blogs.....
Oh, by the way, that last message was from me, Tony S.
