We've got the Mobility

I think it's starting to sink in now: the car seats, double stroller, and myriad other goodies have arrived. I'm not sure we're ready to take care of a couple of baby humans -- after all, we've only had about 35 years for ourselves -- but the stroller is hella cool and I think D-What likes the little windbreakers and stuff. I'm excited to play with the little guys. I just hope I remember to keep them fed and let them sleep now and then.

We've got a new housekeeper lined up (she starts this week) since our previous one quit suddenly. The new one claims to be ready to help take care of twins AND do the housework, and already said she didn't like working with other housekeepers when we brought up hiring a second one for when we go back to work. So we'll see how that goes.

For now, just trying to make sure we've got the basics ready for when we pick up the boys -- and waiting for someone in a USCIS office in the U.S. to let our paperwork sit on their desk for the preordained amount of time before stamping it "approved" and sending it on its way.

In any case, we hope to be in the U.S. to get the boys' diplomatic passports and Chinese visas some time this summer.
