No, I wasn't making much money being the housekeeper. So I've accepted a job at the embassy. No, it's not the one I really wanted. They were (overly, in my opinion) strict on the previous work requirements and deemed me unqualified, so I didn't even get to interview for the one I wanted, which is a near-perfect follow-up/advancement from the job I did in Seoul. Instead, I get a lesser job. At least it means income and retirement investment. I wonder how much I could make selling World of Warcraft gold for real money, though. Sadly, the job spells the end of WoW, since my guild's raids run from 8 a.m. to noon here.
I guess we're back in the market for a housekeeper. If you have any to refer, let me know. I'll be starting work in early/mid April.

Congrats on the employment, even if it isn't the job you wanted. Paychecks and retirement funds are good things.
I think that's thanks to our sucky HR department here. I bet PA didn't even get to look at your resume. Hell, I'm in class with the guy that would have been your boss and he said he would have hired you. Grr.
Well speak as someone who is at a job that is entirely for the money... retirement funds are good and so are treats you can get with the money.
