(Click here for the full version)Despite the existence of such a hero, I have not eaten McDonald's food for several months. Nor have I sipped that ambrosial nectar known as Mountain Dew.
Just get the "treat" of going to Chinese restaurants and getting surprises when ordering new things to try. Like last night. Went to a place we'd gone to once before, with decent results. So we ordered up some things we hadn't tried, only to encounter blah flavors (or in my case with one of the dishes, "OMFG that's spicy!").
Always an adventure. But the fellow on the brochure knows that. He's ready. Ready to save me from "OMFGhot," "my food is looking back at me," and/or "this is nothing like what I expected."
* Can only assume it's fresh, what with that insulated pack he's toting. And that scooter looks fast.
In other news, we've been hitting the shops and markets around town for X-mas (and birthday for some) gifts. We've found a few pretty cool things at a place known as the Dirt Market -- so cool, in fact, that we're having a hard time not keeping some of them for ourselves.
Now we just need to find large boxes to ship stuff in.
Oh, and I know it's a day+ late, but I hope G-Money (or was it the Original Banksta?) had a good B-day.

I was OB and you were T-Money if I'm not mistaken. Yes I had a good birthday (except for a bit of plumbing I had to do).
