Brown Recluse, Good & Fruity, and 4E

A couple of weeks ago, one of the employees at the store was bitten by a brown recluse spider. In the stockroom. He was out for more than a week with treatment and recovery. Needless to say, it caused quite a stir among the other employees -- several of whom refused to go into the stockroom until it was deemed to be safe.
We've been in and out of there many times since then, and no sign of the spider(s) or bites. Definitely not something I need right before moving overseas. I looked at some pictures online of their bites. Yuck.

On a happier note, Good & Fruity is back. Kind of. It exists, in new packaging, but it's not quite the same as it was. It used to be fruit flavored licorice-type things coated in a shell. Now it seems like just... elongated, glorified jelly beans. But the only package I've had my hands on was found by someone else and given to me. I haven't actually seen it in a store!

What's also back: D&D. This time: 4th Edition. My set (DMG, PHB, MM) came via Amazon today. Gonna read up and get ready for the next campaign to be in the 4th dimension -- er, edition.

I thought Good and Fruity were always like that? Good and Plenty are the ones with a licorice center (black)...I think they can be got at any Target...least that's where I got them not to long ago. If there is ones with red licorice centers I have no idea what those are.

See? SPIDERS CAN KILL YOU. AND THEY LIVE AMONG US.
