Hammer-off? Pull-what?

Well, after facing a humiliating defeat by being booed off the stage while (barely) performing "Raining Blood" by Slayer on GH3 a few weeks ago, I've stepped back up and resumed practicing some of the tougher songs.

Just today, I nailed my first perfect song. Sadly, it was neither of the two I've been practicing over and over -- but rather, "Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison. Meh.

Of course, I'm only on the medium setting. I'm stuck there. I can't beat Lou (a.k.a. Satan) on medium, so I don't feel that I've earned the right to move on to hard.

In other news, I just sold a bunch of miniatures and old RPG books and miscellaneous toys on eBay for over $500. Yay for holiday spending money!

Well, I'm off to work shortly, and the in-laws fly in this afternoon. Have a good Thanksgiving!

Have you tried building up like three assaults and sent them at Lou one after each of the other wears off? That's how I beat Lou on Medium.

I'm in the same situation on hard. I squeaked through the last two sets but was defeated in embarrassing fashion when I tried to go up against Lou (as in, of the several times I've attempted it, the best I've done is manage one attack against him before my defeat). So it's back to the earlier songs to try to improve.

My problem isn't really hitting Lou with the attacks, it's merely collecting the attacks! I can't seem to hit them. Furthermore, if I recall correctly, I can only "store up" one attack at a time. Might be wrong, but pretty sure about that.

You can store up more than one attack — I've watched Shonuff do it. I think the limit is three, and then any additional attacks you acquire just bump one of the others out of the queue.
