They sent us a care package even though we're not even overseas. Some of those elusive jalapeno Cheetos, some cheese, and some Haralson apples. Woot!

Not sure how GH3 is on the other systems, but it seems to me that when you activate star power on the Wii version, the characters don't really do much different from their normal actions. Also, I don't recall GH2 isolating the guitar track so much while star power is on.
Anyway, no D&D tonight. Peeps called in sick or otherwise unable to come. :(
I guess that means more Wii for us!

GH3 does seem to have less fun animations for star power. I just got through all the song on mdium (not the unlockable ones yet) last night, and watched J play a lot so that comes from a fair bit of watching. They seem to have been trying to go for a more "realistic" feel while still keeping it animated. I don't love to many of the changes but it's still good GH action.
