Yessiree. I've recently been promoted to a supervisor position at the store -- so now I can avoid the incorrect break scheduling since the supervisors don't have breaks specifically scheduled.
DiploWhat and I are headed to Jamaica at the end of April to celebrate our anniversary -- we would have liked to do a big trip next year for the big 10, but with Chinese language training we probably won't be able to get away. "Come sing me Montego Bay... Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh." (lyrics to that catchy song)
Anyone else think that Alltel lost some points with their last TV ad? The one in which the "cool" fauxhawk-sporting Alltel guy asks the "uncool" other-phone-company guys "What level dungeon master are you?" If you ask me, that "burn" backfired, only emphasizing his ignorance of a game that a growing, increasingly diverse community is playing.
Speaking of D&D, I've got adventure planning to do -- we've formed a new group and are meeting tomorrow night for the first official in-character session! Woo hoo!

Jamaica baby! I can't wait! I think this place is going to make those resorts in Mexico look like crap. Now, if I can just loose 5 pounds! (to be replaced with food and booze while on vacation for sure)
Have fun!
I'm just glad you posted twice in a month! Jamaica should be a good time. It's still a third world country outside the resort gates, so watch yo' self.
And as for D&D, I think you're a little too entrenched in the D&D community. I'd say less than 1% of the population even realized that Dungeon Masters don't have levels, and about 30% recognized the reference in any way.
And that 30% instantly thinks of four fat guys with black robes sitting around a table with Castle Greyskull in the middle and piles of strange dice. Sadly, I witnessed such a sight myself at Coffman Union at the U, though without the Castle Greyskull.
Anyway, it's Jaimala's opportunity to laugh and make fun of me and say "those are YOUR people."
Well, I hope you get a chance to laugh about her people too!
