Moved In -- to the World of Warcrack

So yeah, it's been ages since my last entry. Probably lost all my faithful readers. Please come back!

January was a busy month for us, hence my lack of blogging. That changes now!

DiploWhat and I went on vacation to Ixtapa, Mexico, the second week of January. We met up with my mom, sister, and sister's boyfriend there, and spent a week enjoying the sun. While there I finally succumbed to the sinus/ear infection that DiploWhat had going for a few weeks already. The next week was spent trying to fight it off, and poor Mr. AK had to endure spending time with a couple of plague-bearers during his visit. Hopefully he managed to elude the sickness and wasn't too bored with our early bedtimes and suchlike!

The week following AK's departure was spent making several trips per day to the new apartment with small things I could transport in the car. Saturday the 27th was the big move. Although the movers got everything that we couldn't move ourselves, the foreman was none too friendly, and they turned out to be movers only, not packers. So they left some (small) things that we hadn't been able to box up, and even managed to break a few of our furniture pieces (thankfully it was only cheap bookshelves from Target).

So we're one week in at the new place, and there's still a lot to put away. But we're about 70%-80% done.

Thing is, I've been sucked into the World of Warcra(ft/ck). Otherwise, we might already be totally done unpacking. So shame on me, but it's fun! Some day soon I might come visit Shane H at the Perenolde server. Until then, you can find me on Hellscream.
