Some of you may remember "SNUH" from a certain Simpsons episode. I do, but only vaguely -- I remember the acronym, but not what it stands for in that case. But that matters not, because I have found a real use of the acronym "SNUH" -- the Seoul National University Hospital. Truly a wonder how life imitates art.
And speaking of the Simpsons, I'm going to do my best to locate Rough Draft Studios here in Seoul, and storm the place for cels of Futurama and Samurai Jack. Maybe even the Powerpuff Girls.
So get this: the job that Tahra's CDO has her slated for in DC has just appeared on a Department-wide notice about positions available for summer '06. It seems that since they've been so slow to panel her to the job that they're ready to give it away to other bidders now! Maybe we won't be leaving Seoul in December -- or at all! The bid list for the new cycle is out, so maybe we get to have a third try at getting a crappy assignment!

I hope "Anonymous" can get everything situated with her CDO soon and get your keesters out of Seoul. Without going the Mumbai/intestinal anarchy route. I myself am living large (ok. just living) back Stateside and what an improvement a life makes!
I just think it's fun saying "Mumbai."
