Sellout? Moi?
Google AdSense. Should I add it to the blog? The concept of generating extra income is intriguing, but they very cleverly avoid laying out the specifics of how much one earns from an ad click or a Google Search.So.I must decide: Ads or no ads.Constituents: what say you? Make your voices heard. Rock the vote, and all that.By the way, here's a recent picture of your overlord. Kneel and tremble. Fear the forehead.

My guess is you'll rake in around $.28 to $1.50 per month. Remember the Seinfeld episode where Jerry kept getting royalty checks for less than a buck, and he hurt his wrist from endorsing all of them? That's how you'll feel at tax time if you dutifully report this stuff.
I say it's not worth it.

svb is probably right. If they won't give you the details it's probably not that great a deal. I know I wouldn't click on stuff (I barely see advertising and ignore it if I do) and I don't know how much traffic you get.
Well, I'm sure I get at least a million hits a day, so...
Well then crank that up to $2.00 and SELL...SELL... SELLLLL!!!:)
I use Adsense on MNBeer.com and though there is likely some complex algorithm involved here are a couple of quick examples of what I've made recently:
Yesterday... 91 page impressions, 1 click, $0.65 total earnings.
September 5544 page impressions, 47 clicks, $20.83 total earnings.
It's definitely not a quick way to make money, but the Google text ads are fairly unobtrusive. My main objective with Adsense was to see if I could earn enough to cover my hosting costs. I've done that, nearly twice actually. They send you a check every time you hit $100, so depending on your traffic (or how click-crazy your friends can get) it may be a bit before you'd get your first check.
Good luck!
Oh, Windows sucks! :) Sorry. I kid, I kid...
