A Loss for Words

It's been far too long since my last post (almost a month!), but I still don't really have anything to say.

I've got a lead on some temp/temp-to-hire editing jobs now, so looks like I'll be pulling in some cash soon. Teh roxxors.

Oh! Just remembered something to talk about: Halo. Inspired by the short but impressive gameplay on Forest's console (I forget which brand), I sought out Halo for the PC. I picked it up a few weeks back and have already played through it on the "normal" (not "easy," not "difficult") setting. I'm guessing the storyline is exactly like that on the console version, since the first level or two seemed identical to what I remember. The biggest difference I noticed was that I could actually play (maneuver, aim, etc.) it this time since I'm used to keyboard/mouse controls. Of course, having the vertical movement inverted when I played on the console made a big difference too.

Anyway, not much else to report. DDM* qualifiers are in MN on May 20 (I may be going to that) and in MD on June 10. Gonna get me qualified to play in the world championships, baby!

So, I'll leave you with a few pictures of our apartment (at least, the part that looks halfway decent at the moment).

Oooh! Look at the pretty Korean furniture! It's gorgeous. Glad to hear about the paycheck garnering. Always a good thing.

Halo's for xbox in case you cared. It's pretty addicting when you play the multiplayer. I love that you guys got one of the step unit furniture things!! The apartment looks nice.
