Well, the company who sold me the case of miniatures is giving me the benefit of the doubt and says they'll send another case. It came about not so much through complaining as merely explaining the situation as I believe it to have occurred (an army postal employee appropriating the package).
But now, get this: I feel sort of guilty-like about them sending another case. It's not my fault it went missing, but it's a complete loss for them, as it didn't have postal insurance. Still, I feel like they think I'm not telling the truth and I'm scamming them for a free case. I almost feel like sending them a partial payment or something to defray the cost to them since they're willing to send a complete replacement. But then, would they see that as a scam for a really cheap case?
On a mostly unrelated note, here's what happens when I have too much time on my hands
(I think some of you may have seen this already, but I'm not sure):
And, it's not likely that I'll be getting the lightsaber -- Tahra surprised my by buying the 100 Butterfly Sword (for both of us, as she's quick to remind me). Here's a picture:

Hey, that's an awesome sword! Where did you get the new stand for it?
I wouldn't worry about paying the company back. Remember, they don't lose the full cost. Who knows what kind of margin they have on those things. It probably only cost them $0.50 to make.
